“Okay, LIFE is tough, I QUIT!”
.
.
How many times have you said this to yourself?
Our first reaction to any kind of adversity is to find someone or something to blame. It’s our ego trying to protect itself.
Blaming it on somebody very conveniently lets you run away from the responsibility and makes it seem like somebody else’s problem.
But in reality, every adversity that come into your life is there to teach you an important life lesson that you should imbibe in order to level up. Maybe you need to be proactive, maybe you should diversify your income, maybe you should not take people for granted, maybe you should work on that project you have been delaying..
And If you blame somebody or something for those hard times, you never learn the lessons that were actually meant for you.
Feel the pain, its good, every major breakthrough you will have in life will be after an incredible failure or setback, that’s how we humans are programmed. We don’t like change until its forced upon us.
Sometimes tough love is better than a caring hug, you are bound to fuck up, thing is do you learn from it, pick yourself up and then go on to do the right thing.
I like being tough on people i care about, there is nothing better feeling then to see someone change just cause you smacked their head at the right time.
I would rather be a friend who helps you get back on your feet after a failure then feel sorry for you when you fail. All failures are good if they move you towards self awareness and better sense of self.
The worst thing you can do, when faced with an adversity. is to blame it on somebody and never change as a person. There are some battles you would have to fight alone. The question is, are you ready for the fight?
